Quarterflash Design Group is a company name that I’ve used for a long time. The name is inspired by the Australian saying “3/4 foolish and 1/4 flash” - I hope to be the flash.
I do software development, mostly for a company here in Colorado. I’ve recently been coerced into working on .NET, but I’ve found an opportunity there to expand my cross-platform development.
I’ve worked on a couple of online games (Galaxy and Battle, no longer in service) and little things here and there. I have, of course, done a lot of work for the companies I’ve worked for, but not a lot independently although if you search in the right places you can find a few Open Source projects that I’ve assisted with.
I’m also interested in reading (most SciFi and technical fantasy), building and designing balsa aircraft, flying (real planes), woodworking, and photography. I can’t wait until I retire so I have time for all this stuff. Of course, then I have to worry about paying for it, so if you’re feeling generous drop an email. I’ll be happy to be listed in your last will and testament :)
